Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge starts receiving Android 7.0 OTA Nougat update

Samsung has finally started rolling out the highly-anticipated Android 7.0 Nougat update for its flagship Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge handsets in the UK, following its recent roll-out in Canada.

This should come in as a welcome change to non-Google and non-Nexus devices as the latest Android O Developer Preview release is exclusive to Nexus and Pixel devices.

The new Android 7.0 OTA firmware carries the build number G935FXXU1DQCG, which is said to be exclusive to S7 and S7 Edge users only on EE network in the UK. There is still no word on when this new update will rolled out for these smartphones in other countries across the world.
