A new piece of leak has popped up online which shows the all new iPhone 8 with a dual-camera setup and touch-id on the back side of the device.
Samsung recently launched its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ flagship smartphones. While, Apple – which is the primary rival of Samsung – will bring new devices in September.
The leak was published by iDrop, which hints that the upcoming iPhone will be called as ‘iPhone Edition’. While we have been hearing that since the past 2-3 months – what you are probably unaware of was that the phone is rumoured to have a dual camera setup.
The website even published a mockup of the ‘iPhone Edition,’ based on the feedback provided by sources.
As per information shows in this image, the iPhone Edition looks similar to the recently-launched Galaxy S8. The device packs with a dual-curved screen with minimal bezels on top and bottom along with an OLED panel with 2.5D glass protection.
The dual rear camera setup is placed vertically this time and the LED flash is placed right below the capsule-shaped camera setup. The fingerprint scanner or you can say that touch-id is placed at the back.
None of the above given information has been confirmed by the company yet.
The latest iPhone 8 will be touted to come along with a lot of updates like the OLED display, new sensor system, a function area embedded into the screen to replace the home button for TouchID, and wireless charging. All of these updates are slated to increase the cost of the iPhone 8 to more than $1,000.
