Nokia 9, the much awaited upcoming flagship Nokia Android phone, has leaked once again. According to this new leak, Nokia 9 the flagship smartphone – which was earlier known as Nokia P1 – will going to support industry-leading hardware and will come with features like iris scanner and Nokia OZO audio enhancements.
Nokia 9 Specifications-
As per the news by Nokia Power User, the Nokia 9 will run Android 7.1.2 Nougat, and will support a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) OLED display. It is also said that device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM.
The Nokia 9 is also said to come with a 22-MP dual-lens rear camera setup of-course with Carl Zeiss optics, and a 12-MP front-facing camera. Of course, this is not the first time when there is reports of a dual rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics on Nokia phone. The smartphone will reportedly come in 64GB and 128GB storage variant, and is said to be powered by a 3800 mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0.
Coming to the above mentioned specs of the Nokia 9 – the smartphone will reportedly come with an iris scanner, as well as the recently introduced advanced spatial audio tech called OZO Audio which is developed by the OZO spherical camera. It’s unclear still that this 3D audio experience will look into power. Other notable features include IP68 certification and a fingerprint scanner.
As per the knowledge so far, Nokia OZO Audio offers 3D audio experience which is optimized for headphones and spatial audio playback systems. It features low latency 3D audio playback for VR devices supporting head tracking, as well as high-quality stereo playback for devices without OZO Audio playback support.
According to Nokia, the “audio focus technology enables accentuating sounds in one direction while reducing ambient sounds and background noise.” Nokia OZO Audio technology will also allow 3D audio capture with 4 or more microphones (when available on the smartphone).
